Pervious concrete pavements offer efficient use of land for shopping. This Southwest Washington city looks at pervious concrete not only for its unique ability to capture run-off, but also for its ability to treat and biologically break-down polluted parking lot drainage. These large retailers selected pervious concrete because it was the low cost alternative to expensive stormwater infrastructure. It also allowed full use of the property for retail space and parking stalls.
