2010 Portland "Street of Dreams"
Portland, Oregon
Portland's newest green homes use Evolution DriveWay™ Architectural Pervious Concrete to prevent rainwater from flowing off the surface and polluting local streams. Evolution's "Architectural" (fine-grain) pervious pavements let water run directly through our solid concrete and into the soil where it is filtered and allowed to reach natural aquifers. Unit pavers shown here are not pervious but they are set in loose gravel so they also prevent runoff. The 2010 Street of Dreams homes show how our "Next Generation" of pervious pavements can be green and still complement the beauty of your home. The Evolution DriveWay APC mix looks so much like regular concrete that people are shocked when water quickly disappears though the surface instead of flowing down the driveway.
