Keizer Habitat for Humanity
Keizer, Oregon
Project stormwater costs were overwhelming. Pervious concrete made it affordable. Recharging the groundwater aquifers that provide Keizer residents with drinking water was a good idea. Evolution's pervious concrete applications eliminated the expense for stormwater infrastructure, saving more than $380,000. The cost reduction allowed Habitat for Humanity to develop five affordable new family homes.
"Even with the fantastic outpouring of materials, labor, and care, Keizer's willingness to use pervious concrete as an alternative to traditional stormwater management was a critical factor in us being able to provide this housing, particularly in these tough times for families."
