The 20 foot wide SideWinder slipform paver by Evolution paving Resources is in the final
stages of development and hopefully this serious paving tool will be
available for purchase before the beginning of 2010.

Field trials on Evolution Paving Resources’ 2010 SideWinder slipform paver
showed recently that even architectural pervious concrete can be installed
with beautiful results.  The SideWinder is still in development and is
expected to be completed in late in 2009.

The Willamette Ear Nose and Throat Clinic in Salem, Oregon has long been
recognized for its earth friendly actions.  So it was only natural for them
to chose pervious concrete pavement when they expanded their staff parking
area.  As a bonus, Evolution Ultimate Architectural Pervious Concrete was
used to build the walkway between the parking and the office.

Evolution Ultimate™ Architectural Pervious Concrete (APC) is now accepted by several cities in a big way.  The City of Beaverton, Oregon dedicated its new commuter plaza (naming contest underway as we speak) and the central aspect of the dedication was the green nature of the natural looking concrete pathways and some art pieces that will adorn the park for a year before being rotated to other locations in the city.  The city of Olympia, Washington has also accepted it use and the City of Vancouver will soon be advertising it new public works facility will feature Evolution Ultimate pervious walkways.
